the long and short of it.
I am really thinking about setting up another tank. I have been thinking about sea horsed for many years. ( yes i understand there needs )

this will prob. be a SH only tank maybe some pipe fish. the tank I am thinking about would be the new RS G2 300 coming in at 80 gal. I like there foot print and sump more than the WB.
Sh are pretty heavy bioload as they dont have much of a GI track so i will need some hefty filtration.

along with UV, mini rector, either ATS or fuge and hopefully the roller mat and great skimmer is needed.

my top choices are:

1. RS 600 rated for
2. reef octo classic 200 ( I have been running this skimmer on a few different tanks on and off for 5+ years same pump great skimmer )
3. life reef SVS-24 in sump. I have always been interested in the lifereef skimmers. I like the fact you can use any pump and from what I hear they last forever

thoughts?

Like my Octo, nice big cup. Set once and leave it alone
