what snail does this?

Ok what snail lays eggs like this? Never see anything come of the eggs but every 2-3 days there is another string of them somewhere on the glass.

nassarius, astrea, and a few others, thats a pretty long strand.

Yeah that fox coral behind it is about 6". Have not had a stand this long. Normally they are only about an inch or so. The only fish in the tank are two clowns and a sailfin tang. Have never seen them touch them. Wonder if they are just eventually ending up in the Skimmer.

Wow. That's a really long Strand. When mines were spawning the strand wasn't even near that long lol

I use to get those every freaking day and I never knew what they were. I should have paid attention to how long mine were. whats the norm for them?

I wish I knew what was happening to the eggs. Kinda wondering if I could take them out and put them in my pico to see if they become anything...... can you harvest the eggs?

Well at least your snails don't commit suicide! I have had two snails I watched slither (is that the right word?) right off the edge of my rock work fall on a lr below and crack it's shell and die!

Ohh I have had a couple turbos do that. Well fall off a rock into a cave that I can't get my fat fingers in. Two days later empty shell.
