What kits do you own and what do you test with them?

I am buying a Hannah checker for alk and then Red Sea tests for calc

I got a Milwaukee for salinity and will have a salinity probe from my Profilux.

if you have any backup test kits for redundancy mention them too!

I have red sea no3, po4, ALK, Cal, mag. All the pro kits. I also have the others like nitrite, pH, ammonia but they are expired and have not used them in over 2 years

I have a Hanna dkh ALK checker but it's more of a pain to use and no more consistent than my red sea kit, so I mostly use red sea, when I double check they are usually within about .1-.3 dkh

I have a sea chem iodine test just for my interest. My iodine is way low to zero but am told it doesn't matter.

API master kit, some salifert ones, and a cheap refractometer. I don’t chase numbers much so while these probably aren’t the most accurate they help me keep things constant.

Nitrate, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium and phosphate. Yes I have ammonia and nitrite but havent used them since I started the tank. I have pH but rarely use it.

API Saltwater Master Kit and Red Reef Marine Care Test Kit for pH, Ammonia, Nitrites, and Nitrates. In hindsight and after a year of experience, I would have just stuck with API.

Salifert for Calcium.

Hanna Instruments for Phosphate and Alk.

I'm personally very satisfied with API. For Nitrate, it's really important you follow their instructions. I compared API results to Red Reef for a lot of my tests and they were nearly identical.

For a decade I used API and they work. Salifert is easier. All my tests now are Salifert. When you compare you get the same result if you do them right.

NO3, PO4, CA, ALK, MAG - Red sea.
Boron, Potassium - Salifert
pH - pocket meter.
Salinity - refractometer

I test their accuracy against seawater.
