So I need help. I need more fish to complete my stock. Then going corals.
Stocking consists of:
Purple tang
4 yellow tangs
Whitespotted bamboo shark
White tail bristletooth tang
Coral beauty
Magnificent foxface

What else can I get? I am doing an Angelis tang and male whitespotted shark. I have a 360 gallon tank with black sand and 250lbs of live rock. I also have a 19 head Duncan and red branch sponge. Need more corals but need to do one last batch of fish as my QT is going to be converted into a cichlid tank for my gf.

Reef safe so most angels are out.. How about a crosshatch trigger or bluethroat trigger? That family of triggers are pretty safe..... Reef safe..

In all seriousness though, have you considered getting a schooling fish? Anthias would be pretty neat.

EDIT: Dwarf angels are less likely to be coral eaters than larger marine angels such as Emperors/French, but that can change in an instant the moment they get a taste of a polyp...

Good quality on shark thing.. But crosshatch are pretty timid. Bluethroats even more... But not 100% on shark thing....

My gf wants a school of anthias but the tank is only 5 months old and want to wait till next year. Want color and mid to upper swim range. Also going to pick up a pair of lightning maroon clowns in a few months

Lightning maroons are awesome clownfish... I'm happy to see them on the market more and more. A couple of years ago, you couldn't find them anywhere. Now my LFS has at least 5 of them in stock.

Sargassum trigger could be considered as well. Really cool triggers. You could make it a "trigger reef" ;)

FWIW I don't see a sargassum or blue jaw picking on the shark. I've had one of each for quite some time with much smaller fish and non aggressive fish with no issues at all. The only bad thing was the sargassum got hungry in QT and ate his royal gramma roommate. But that was my fault for not being there to feed him. I have no experience with crosshatch but I believe those are more aggressive. I would say the thoughts of triggers and sharks being incompatible are stemming from triggers such as huma huma, clown, undulated, and the like.

On another note, what about some cool wrasses?? Blennies, gobies, foxface, i.e. some fish that are beneficial in other ways.

Great idea:
What about a gold spot rabbitfish?
These are supercool herbivores peaceful that can even be kept in pairs.
A shark would stay away from it because of its venomous dorsal fins.
"Generally" reef safe :/

Shark doesn't bother anyone as long as they aren't stressed or try and take her food lol. When I first got her she paired with a small clown and they where inseparable. Until the clown was moved back to the original owners tank and was are by a lionfish.
