I've just notice my tank of top off water has a slight greenish tint. I like to keep many gallons on hand in case I have to leave town. Has anyone else had this problem, especially those with large tanks and can I still use this water?

Yes, light does hit tank. I will try to correct that. Thanks!Does light get into the tank? Green is usually algae in seawater unless you have been sanding or stripping green paint nearby?

Thanks.I store my new seawater in a blackout tank. It is unlikely that a bit of algae in the top off water will have any lasting impact on your tank but it is best to address it.
