I just got a gem tang. I’ve had him for two days. So far he’s eating well. I’m feeding Lrs reef frenzy, mysis shrimp, spriulna pellets, compressed algae on the glass. Is there anything else I should be feeding or should I change anything?
Thanks

not really , they're just like any other tang.. IME, mine is hardy, and as long as you give him a good environment -- peaceful. I feed him lots of LRS and algae. He's growing and pooping all over my corals.

Sounds good just keep doing what you are doing, variety is the spice of life. I offer tons of different foods to my tangs. it’s very funny to me that some like certain foods more than others and refuse to eat some things especially when some of the others love the foods that some won’t eat.

I just got 2 in also and just feed them variety of food. Nothing special

Exciting that these guys are now more accessible to the average reefer!

yeah but they look different now. They have a little more "purple" to them. They almost look like a hybrid of purple/gem. The spots are not as distinct. I wonder if they're getting them from a different area hence the huge reduction in price
