What to feed bandit angelfish?

Wondering what food to offer these guys to get them to start eating? I know they eat sponges. Is there a prepared food on the market that they really like?

Assuming you’ve already attempted the daily variety of frozen mysis and others, I always find Rod’s or Rogger’s frozen blend to be extremely useful when it comes to finicky fish. If those don’t work, you will need to use live feed, such as ghost shrimps.

I'll send a couple pictures tonight. Yes I tried LRS reef frenzy rods mysis... I'll pick up some live ghost shrimp tonight.
Any other suggestions. Should I get some live Brine shrimp also?

I think you meant brine. Lol
Try the spirulina brine from Hikari mixed with some garlic extract first before you go for the live brine. I’ve heard live black worm works miracle too.

Mine eats anything.. But clams he loves... Pe mysis... The nori seaweed.. But maybe to get going some ghost shrimp..

A clam on the half-shell from your local market may help to trigger his appetite . . .

If it's not eating definitely try live black worms. They work wonders for finicky eaters.

Update
Got the ghost shrimp. Seemed like he might have been interested but no go.
I was going to try a clam on half shell tomorrow. I decided to try some flake food and he ate it. I then put some pellets in and he started snatching them up too.

Hikari makes an angel food with sponge in it. I mix it with other foods. I have a Yellow Belly regal. It also likes green algae sheets with garlic, and yes, live black worms. Fat little guy! . Glad your angel is starting to eat.

the one in the photo was 7/8 of a inch, had to cut up Mysis with a razor blade to feed it.
