Love duncans :). I target target feed some frozen on occasion, but mainly just let it catch whatever I'm feeding the tank (typically brine, mysis). I have an auto feeder (Avast Marine Plank) that runs a few times/day with freeze dried plankton, I'm away from the tank for a week at a time regularly and this is its progress:

May I ask how often you feed your tank? I have an auto feeder which feeds those pellet/ball type of food, but I assume this wouldn't be possible for duncans to use as food. What kind of dried plankton you feed? I do have phytoplankton, but that's not dried. So that's kind of difficult to mix in the auto feeder.

I love Gonis and Euphyllia. Maybe too much

Love my Duncans. One of the, can’t remember which was one of my first, a PetCo purchase with two polyps. Target feed several times weekly. Mainly a mix of frozen mysis, and a couple other frozen foods .

My Avast Marine feeder keg runs 3x per day for 2 minutes each (I run the pump for 15 after to circulate). I picked up their Reef Jerky freeze dried plankton along with the feeder, the tank loves it. I'm not set on that schedule, may change to 5x @ 1 minute/run, but works for me for now.

I generally sprinkle flakes randomly once/day and frozen food thawed in tank water every evening after the last feeder run.

Target feed NPS most days and shoot some at the Duncans and others every few days.

My duncan seems to like medium flow and eats anything. Its gone from 1 to 21 heads in about 1 1/2 years. The Venus flytrap of corals. Med light as well 150-200 par id guess.

I don’t target feed mine at all, it just catches what comes by. Mainly feed my own approximation of Reef Jerky via a plank feeder, and toss in a cube of mysis every couple of days

A year or so ago it was 2 heads. Now it’s around 15 and still sprouting more.
