Hi everyone,

My 33g tank is cycling and I wanted to get your opinion on what I could possibly stock in a tank this size? I have two clown fish, a cour jester goby and 4 turbo snails that are currently in a smaller tank. I still need to get my light in so I’m thinking to wait to transfer the goby until there is a bit more algae (although I feed him pellets). I’m looking for colorful fish that work with my two clowns. Also… could an urchin work and how difficult are they to keep? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Royal gramma
Red/purple fire fish
Midas blenny
Banggai Cardinalfish
Sapphire damsel
YWG pistol pair
Fire Cleaner shrimp
Pretty much any goby
Chromis
I had a dwarf angel in my 30 gallon but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Urchins like pencil urchins and tuxedo urchins would be okay in your tank and you don't have to do anything to take care of them its just that they are reef safe with caution.

Thanks! I’ll do some research on all of these and see which ones I’ll pick. How many fish would you stock in a tank that size?

Diamond watchman goby was perfect in my 30 gallon way back when.

Orchid dottyback.

Bangaii cardinalfish. A pair is cool to keep as their mouth-brooders.

Maybe, you could try a small flame angel.
