I guess over the past umpteen years I've tried so many brands.

I have always fed twice a day. I thaw a couple of cubes of Mysis with Selcon added for the day's meal plan and add just a small amount of flake.

I do admit I've never used pellet that often. Any thoughts?

I like to change my flake food up from time to time and would like to hear some suggestions, please.

All input is greatly appreciated.

I like Hakari brand sinking pellets. Mostly I get the very smallest size, as interestingly, even 6” fish will eat them (along with the smaller fish they are ‘made for’), whereas all my fish seem to have a hard time with even the next size up.

I use the Omega One marine flakes and Fauna Marin pellets, both the clownfish ones and “marine soft protect.” I also use the PE marine pellets at work and they go down pretty well with the fish who will eat pellets.

I mostly feed frozen with some flakes at home, with pellets only a couple of times a week.

I don't feed pellets or flake . I do have some & sometimes I'll add a few to the frozen just to absorb the vita chem I add.

+1 for soaking up vitamins. If not for that I probably wouldn't add any dry food.

I will second the TDO pellets. Comes in many sizes. From starter to big sizes. I feed mostly live and frozen foods. A few pellets just in case someone wants a bit of crunchy stuff.

I guess i'm one of the few people that don't feed frozen. I feed exclusively pellets and flakes. Pellets are Hikari marine s and tdo chroma boost. Flakes are pe mysis and sometimes New Life Spectrum.

I’ve tried different types of dry food and have settled on Ocean Nutrition Formula 1 and 2 small pellets as my choice of dry food. I also feed frozen cubes once a day

I use them with the Apex auto feeder and they sink well when dropped in and the pellets are small enough that all the fish get a chance at them

Reef frenzy .5 is great my fish hammer that stuff and my blastos, Duncan, and sunset plate really like it too. If you order 20 bucks at saltwater aquarium.com you can get a small baggie sample for free.
