Harmful, neutral, or beneficial?

I haven't had any coral shipments local/mailed with an Isopod like this before. Google was of little help finding someone I would call a positive ID.

I found a total of 3, all came off when shaking the frags in the shipping water.

No additional ones found when dipping.

This is under a magnification of 0.7x

Possibly the same as here?

I’ve only studied so many marine isopods but I am wondering if it is Family Sphaeromatidae. Paracerceis sculpta. A type of exotic marine isopod. I am uncertain if they are considered reef safe.

that body shape is shared by types that hang on to fish as parasites. I'd presume bad.

For now they are isolated in a 15ml falcon tube hanging out. I'm assuming bad as well.

Not from a vendor on the site it was a small store I stopped at.

Looks like a parasitical isopod that will be a problem child
