As others said, get it out while you can. You do not want to touch it nor chase it. Trapping is best and if not removed will become a holy terror to the tank.
A trap is as simple as a 2 litre bottle as show , with a piece of shrimp within.

Any suggestions on how to remove it? Thanks.
As @vetteguy53081 said you're better of trapping it. I've never had one in my tank so I don't have any first hand experience with removal but if you try to grab it with tongs they can seperate and the part that remains will live on.

I'd also try to keep the trap away from its rock a little bit if possible. It may try to leave the back of its body in the rock, which would cause the trap not to work because it just pulls itself back out.

Great points, thanks.

Scary. Get rid of that Bobbit worm
You could have more bobbits in your sand bed. I found 5 in mine when I tore my old tank apart and upgraded. I wish I took pics and documented everything. It could have helped others with such a curious situation.
They started out by eating hair algae as I was cycling my live rock.
