What worm makes these?

I assume whatever worms make these are harmless. But if they aren't, please let me know. I have suddenly had an outbreak of them.

Searching the scientific name brings you to what we're looking for. "hair worms" on the other hand, yucky little beasts

I once had what I believed to be a spaghetti worm that formed a little casing of substrate around itself just like your pictures. Completely harmless and good CUC.
