I'm going to get myself some Anthias, Barttlet , because they're smaller and i can get a better number of them in my 150 reef.

What would be a great number, i was thinking 1 male and 6 female.

Is their something i should know about them, i know if the male dies the biggest female will change but other than feeding them 4-5 times a day, i'm not familiar with them.

Yea, food is the key. Anthias in general tend to starve over long periods of time in personal tanks. Need feedings all day long.

I wouldn't recommend Bartletts to keep in a group. They are easy, but you will have all males within short period of time.( They just turn from females to males), After that they will fight. If you want nice number , smaller and easier Anthias get some Resplendent, they stay small, active and not aggressive to each other. I have group of six almost a year now, with one dominant male , one sub male and 4 females. 150 gal. will be nice size for them.

I had five lyretails. In about 3 weeks I had one. They changed sex and would beat the crud out of each other. One did really good for a few years till I sold him.
