Can anyone offer any advice on whats going on with my neon toadstool? First pic is the day it was added, and then second pic now. Had one before and this doesn't look like any shedding I have ever seen. For context, neon sinularia from the same tank is happy as a clam at the samedepth/par and parameters.

What are your nitrates and phosphates? If I carbon dose too much or get down do zero nitrates and phosphates my toad stool closes up

Give it more flow! I’d also would dip and then place back with great flow.. and just wait it out!

Your toadstool is definitely sick. I'd suggest an extended bath in an extra strength iodine solution. What kind of light have you got your corals under? It doesn't look like coral light.

The second pic is under ambient room light to avoid the blue washout. It is a gen5 radion pro. Definitely a coral light...

I am 99% at this point my culprit for my coral troubles (sps included) is high alk and low nutrients. I am try to bring my alk down and also trying to slowly bring my nutrients up. I will dip the toadstool today as it is waterchange day. It gets plenty of flow in its spot it just hasn't looked happy since moving over to this tank for some reason while the leather from the same tank has done just fine.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
