Whats growing on my duncan?

I've had my duncan coral in my tank and it's been doing fine for more than two months, but recently it was stung by one of my nems where there used to be a little hole in it with a polyp growing out of it, but now there's this weird thing growing on it that seems spiraly and is dark red. Anyone know what it is?

Can you get a clearer pic with more white?
Spiraly and red i would think vermatid but it looks larger and flatter.

I could try to get a better pic tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure it's a vertemid.
