whats my clams worth?

I have a 13" Gigas clam thats beautiful...Im thinking of breaking down one of my tanks!!!

also I have a 8" blue lip deresa? what are they worth?

Definatly $250 on the Gigas if you can get it. On the Derasa it is a tough one, got a top down pic?

I just bought a 9" blue Derasa that was in the $300 range, but it has blue streaks throughout. Here is a pic

not too sure. nationally its worth quite bit, but no way I would ship a beautiful gigas, I would be more concerned with finding the right owner and the clams preservation. just me though.

Agree with Maximus....I have paid amost that much for a much smaller derasa so depending on the coloration, you may be able to demand more...I would like to see a top down as well.

That Gigas is HUGE! How long have you had them?

I have had the Gigas for a little over a tear....I bouGHt if from ORA It grows like a weed...The Derasa I have had for 8 months it was a rescue from the lfs!

Hard to ship, but donate to a zoo or aquarium, and write off the donation as tax deduction.

Both parties win....and new place for it to grow.

I did it with mine and took to omaha's aquarium.
