We're all on different parts of our reefing journey, so I'm curious to know where you all are in your journey and what's up next? New equipment or livestock? Upgrading or downgrading? Getting into fragging, breeding, or expanding your knowledge? What's next for you and your reef?

For me, up next is a move and a total restart, hopefully early fall! I'm super excited for this fresh start.

I was originally planning on going with a bigger tank but after retiring last year I'm looking do a bit more variety but on a smaller scale. First want to build a small nano (15-20 gallons). Always wanted to try building my own tank. Will also try a low DSB which is something I've always been fascinated by so why not? I have the time. Plus it'll hold my remaining fish while I restart my RSR170. After that, who knows?

Gigantea anemone might be next up for me, but it depends on what is available. :)

Focused currently on coloration. I am reading up, watching videos/podcasts and bought ICP tests. Also added a battery backup for the return pump because of possible power outages this coming summer.

My tank just hit 4 months and everything is running as planned, including the ugly stage which is nearing its end. Next will be working with Reef Moonshiners and playing with all those fun green bottles and getting the water chemistry top notch.
I also want to connect a display refugium/macro tank to the main display. Will be adding ocean live rock, (maybe from different sources?) to up the biodiversity. Looking forward to that fun project, there’s a lot of beautiful macro tanks out there for inspiration

I'm planning on starting a copepod culture in the near future so I can keep a captive-bred mandarin dragonet in my 25gal tank. They really are one of the most beautiful fish out there and I'd love to keep one!

I am considering what it would take to set up a bigger tank. Maybe in the 40 to 50 range. Thinking maybe one of those 40 gallon IMs.

New human baby frag this summer! Hoping to scrape together funds to finish my frag tank build, and work on it during my 6 week paternity leave! Gotta find some room for these coral frags I have and will continue to have!
For the main display I want to keep making improvements. Just bought a hydros skimmer overflow sensor to compliment my hydros collective. I also want to add a continuous drip of saturated kalk from a hydros Sole to complement my AFR dosing. Then I can tell I will need a front strip style light and more flow as these Acropora start to fill in. I honestly might need to sell some LPS too as they crowd my tank.

After 5 years of adding, the next step is to stop adding.

Coral prices have increased to the stupid level and in comparison to the landed costs, someone’s being greedy, of course IMM.

Not playing that game. I’m just letting everything grow out.

Might attempt to sell some coral this fall. Or prep to trade. With my lfs shutting down.... I'll have to manage myself.

Just continuing to add some coral and let it grow out to fill in. In terms of fish, I'm nearing the end of my stocking I think. Have a couple more angels coming in, and then trying to decide if I want to add anything else before I throw in the Achilles Tang grenade at the end.

I'm also going to start experimenting with Phosphate Rx to get my phosphates under control. I'm a little nervous for my yellow tang, but I have enough people I trust speak highly of the product that I'm gonna give it a go.

I'm just looking forward to the day I have a stable reef.... Ever since the great tank swap of 2024 I've been plagued with different algae issues and bottomed out nutrients.

What's next when I get there, more impulse coral buying, more garden growing... and my wishlist change that I do not want to spend the money on is moving to Hydros from Neptune.

What factors are making you want to go to Hydros from Neptune? I am sincerely asking, I don't have either, have considered both, and I don't really know which I would favor.
