There is an 8 minute video with Julien Sprung on you tube. Here is the original hypothesis article. There are more people that talk about that just not a ton on this forum. It seems to be the common theme on FB posts asking about goni care.
I don't have a dosing regime. Iron, manganese are very quickly depleted much more so if you have a refugium. An ICP will test natural levels of manganese, but just barely.

I believe I have discovered what it needs to prevent and cure the wasting condition, and why it occurs.reefs.com
I dont have a goni yet but it's on the list of coral I plan on getting and one of the ones that got me into the hobby, I'm not intimidated because of the care requirements just the budget lol But I will get one eventually!I really love Gonipora. I don't have many but I'm starting to really "get my head turned" from other corals by them. They come in a variety of beautiful colors, they sway in the water flow, and can grow pretty fast. So what about you? Here is some great info about gonipora care from @Tidal Gardens.

2. Do you have Gonipora coral in your reef tank? (pics please)

I have an Alvepora that has been in my tank about four months - it's doing very well but I will note at times it seems to get upset, normally right before I do my monthly waterchange. I think they, like most corals, hate increases in NO/POAnyone with experience with alveopora as well? Curious how they are compared to goniopora. Gf wants a white alveopora and been thinking of setting her up a tank.
Give them a chance-I've seen them come back from almost nothing!Well I just received a goni and alveopora frag today, both didnt make the trip in transit. Everything else in the order was good
yea, I have them in the tank right now. skeletons are showing pretty badly on both, but I can see a little bit of zooxanthellae. Here's to hoping they pull through!Give them a chance-I've seen them come back from almost nothing!
