Whats on my birdsnest???

So i have scraped this off once already and now its back... Anyone have an idea of what it is or whats going on?

It's hard to tell but based on the color I would say it's either algae (not sure what kind though) or a little aiptasia starting to grow out. Leaning more towards algae. Can you dip it?

I can remove it and dip again.. I dipped before putting it in the tank. It only grows on that tip.. would that be normal for algae?

Yea. If it's a dead pice algae will grow on it. You can trim the tip and see if flesh will grow back over it.

I wouldn't bother dipping. Clip the dead piece off.
