Is it soft? Does it blow off easily with a turkey baster? My guess would be pleasantly colored type of cyano. Interested in what everyone thinks.

If you have access to a microscope, a small piece under low power could prove or disprove my guess.

Looks like some Cyano and GHA...but I’m not too sure if there’s something particular to look for.

Both are considered nuisance algae. Can you give us some details of your tank? -
How long it’s been running, stocking, water parameters if you test, lighting. Lots of potential factors that may cause it.
