What is the BEST coral you've ever owned and do you still have it?

Technically this is cheating, but I’m receiving an RR Promethazinre zoa. And it is hands sown one of the most beautiful Zoas I’ve ever seen. And not to expensive either

Yes I’ve have. Been growing from 1 inch frag into a 3”x3” tips now
Blue strives Mummy eyes.
Been thinking to frag a piece sooner. Day light & blue light

My favorite is this Lobo, not because of the coloration though I like it.... I love the feeding response. It flips itself inside out

Sadly it devlouped an aptasia outbrake in its sques and when I treated with aptasia x it floated into its mouth. Had this bad boy for 4 years. Really broke my heart.

I gave this Lobo to my mom as her first coral and I'll always remember her excitement when it actually grew. My sister has it now.

My favorite Ricordea is still with me but it’s struggling right now. It has almost pedal lacerationed itself to death and it’s still pretty small for Ricordea. I share a pic in a minute

My poor Ricordea who just ran over by snail, so it retracted. It has been lacerating a lot lately.

This was it when it wasn’t lacerating. I really hope it recovers from its travels. It’s such a beautiful coral.

My Blue Ridge. I bought a $5 frag at a LFS that no longer is there.

For me it’s this Jelly Bean Chalice from BSA corals that I got for free.

then the fascination Favia that grows like an absolute weed for me anywhere i put it and it’s extremely bright.

In regards to today's poll What's my favorite coral. It's fairly simple since my tank is bare of corals, I can't have a favorite. I made two mistakes early on and bought the wrong type of lights (current loop system) and a 4ft deep tank. Between the two I would need a couple thousand dollars worth of lights just to think about keeping corals.

A red trachyphilla. Had him nearly 10 yrs but the move from calif to co was too much and I lost him.
