just noticed this on my torch. No not the shrimp cleaning my hand. Any ideas? New head growing maybe?

Torch has been the happiestI have seen since we bought it here lately as well
 
My guess is that it is a sponge. I would leave it since sponges are good filter feeders and is going to feed off of the waste from your Torch. Also, the Torch will not be affected by it since Euphyllia coral species carry a potent sting.
