I hope I put this in right heading ...if not feel free to move....so I got 2 frags of green star polyps at the expo....loved em ….opened right away ...nice movement....looked good....then 2 days ago they quit opening....water parameters all are same ...no changes,,,,i am due for a water change this weekend. So this morning part of one partially opened.....took some pics …..any clues?

Looks like algae on the polyps
Also sometimes coral take awhile to open up if newly introduced

What are your actual tank parameters? Alk, Calc, Mg, phosphate, nitrate, salinity and temp?
 
temp 78.1, salinity1.024, nitrate 10, alk 80, phosphate .05....don't have test kits yet for calc or mg
