Whats Wrong With My Nem

Hey guys wondering if you could tell me what is wrong with my nem. He is a small split of a nem i took home from the LFS who did not look great when i took him home.

it's dying
It might be too late but you can try Ciprofloxacin

thats what i thought, Should i trash it or see if it comes back?

when it's basically decomposing from the mouth it's a goner. You might want to take it out or try it in a quarantine tank

i guess i will throw it in a clean qt and see what happens, Poor guy i feel bad, any ideas as to why these things happen?

you said it did not look great when you took it home, did it not look great at the LFS also? how long have you had your tank setup? I find anemone don't do well in brand new setup, say less than 6 months old. Not enough lighting can effect the outcome. Improper acclimation can kill it too. So many parameters to be honest just don't know where to start with no info.

Na It did not look good at the LFS , It was a split from a Colarado Sunburst that i found in the tank tucked behind a rock. My tank is close to 2 years old at this point, I have an radion over the tank at 12k close to 40 percent, i did a drip acclimation for close to an hour, tank prams, should be close to perect, i know all the regular prams are in check, havent checked alk in a while but im sure it is in range

o well, guess i need to get on a split list for another colarado.

gotcha, looks like it was already going to die when you bought it. Hope you didn't have to pay full price for it then. Better luck next time
