I wish I could handle a room full of high school kids... I would be a shop teacher I here they pay pretty well...

My shop classes were always laid back other than the occasional finger or thumb being removed haha!

Been in construction pretty much all my life; father was a contractor so I was working for him on the weekends, summers, etc when I was in school. Got my civil engineering degree from GA Tech in '93. Didn't like working in the office as a design engineer so I jumped back to the construction side shortly after I graduated. I've been building water / waste water plants in the SE ever since. I'm a senior project manager currently wrapping up a $30m WWTP project in Dothan, AL. Its looking like I'm either starting a $35m project in Baton Rouge, LA in January or heading back to the main office in Atlanta to play estimator for awhile.

I haven't ever really loved what I've done by I've always enjoyed learning new things and that brings enjoyment to what I've done all my life I know one thing I can at least say I'm a jack of all trades and have multiple years in each field I've worked!

Im a assistant manager at Arbys im 23, its not to bad tho i get to meet new people every day and talk to people I would like to get a better paying job but right now in my area good jobs are hard to come by and this one has health insurance so that makes it noce

up until i graduated with my aerospace engineering degree, i worked in food service. now, i am a mass properties engineer.

I LOVE my job, I've been doing it for 16yrs now. I get paid to hang out with my friends and do things that they make movies about. There are good days and bad days as well. Most seem to be pretty good tho.

I'm a power lineman here in key west. I've had a blessed life thus far and hope that the big guy continues to keep an eye out for me. I've done many things, small engine repair, stereo installation, painter, commercial/residential electrician, rented jet skis, detention deputy, CI/CN (Govt Stuff), then to my current career. Love it.

I'm actually pretty bored with what I'm doing. Don't get me wrong, every day is a different challenge but I get tired of baby sitting grown men. I'm also tired of being on the road as much as I am. For the past 7-8 years I've been on the road jobsite to jobsite baby sitting grown men; leave Sunday night then back in Atlanta on Thursday night. I've got a couple of feelers out to jump to another company as either division manager or chief estimator. This will at least get me off the road to some degree plus a few more pennies in my pocket.

I'm a Touring Professional in the music industry. I've been at it for 10 years and have been blessed enough to be at a Triple A level with the artists I work with. But the amount of travel is starting to loose it's appeal and the excitement has been fading. Been toying with the idea of an Aquaculture facility for some time... never know.

Well currently I am the Database and Systems Admin at the Moorhead Area Public School district in Minnesota. I have been here about a year and a half. The road to get here was bumpy but it is all good now.

I graduated from UND (Go SIOUX!) then moved to Fargo as that's where the majority of IT jobs were. Started out in technical support through a local company for McDonalds, then moved to Microsoft supporting the CRM software. Then due to a stagnant position after a couple years I took a gamble and took a temp-to-hire program manager position at Microsoft. The gamble didn't work out for me though and after a year ended in unemployment as the economy turned to crap. I had a few short jobs along the way like BBI International as a systems admin and got to do some traveling with them. Then I got to where I am now. Bumpy for sure but well worth the gamble in the end.

I'm a boarding supervisor at a boarding school for kids with special needs. Unfortunately, I never get to work with the kids in a positive light... I'm more of a bouncer/disciplinarian. Eventually I'd like to get a job in my field (I have degrees in Economics & Finance) and started toward my masters in Econ, but there's currently a shortage of jobs & a surplus of applicants, so that won't be happening anytime soon unless I plan to take a substantial paycut.

I am Network Technical Specialist (take care of a central office) for AT&T been here for almost 13 years. Started as a headhunter for teksystems and recruited for it field and decided that I needed a career change so I applied at AT&T . About 6 years ago I went back to school for cardiac sonography and I do that as a fill in when the echo tech goes on vacation or is sick.

I am a luxury apartment maintenance supervisor. The property I manage consists of 16 buildings with 8 units per building. I have all kind of interesting residents some who i have convinced that reefing is a way of life. I am always getting asked for advice from different residents about fish related things. I really enjoy my job for the most part, I am never late since I live at work. I can always go home to use the restroom, have lunch, AND OF COURSE MESS WITH MY TANKS DURING THE DAY. I am always home for my deliveries so I can always get my friends acclimated and into their new homes as soon as they are ready. Most of all I got a really great group of people who I work with, there is only trhee of us which makes for a really busy day but we always get things done...esspecially when I am at work instead on R2R talkingg about my job....lol
