Sometimes reefing feels like a never ending project! Check one task off the list, and three more pop up. Some small, like mixing this fresh batch of AFR as I type, others massive or downright daunting. What’s the most exciting, challenging, or nerve-wracking reefing endeavor you’ve got coming up? Share your plans! It might inspire someone to add to their list or make others feel better knowing their to-do list isn’t that wild!

I've had a new 150 gallon since last Fall that is no where near running, despite having most of the gear I'll need. Other things keep getting in the way, but I swear that tank is coming lol!

Designing an extruded aluminum light rack to hang my ap9xs more over the center of my tank front to back and add at least one light bar for some better fill light, fight shading, and improve on lack of front edge lighting. Will probably get something with heavy blue/uv to help fluorescence too. Thinking quanta bar meso blues for the light bar.
Always something…

Love my quanta!
Next project is a toss up. Need to replace one more radion with a meridian, but also need a couple more wave makers. Probs wave makers first.

I wish I could take on something bigger, but my landlord doesn’t allow anything large, so I’m sticking to a 20g setup for now. The most challenging thing I’ve got coming up is moving my current tank from one apartment to another without stressing the livestock too much. Definitely nerve-wracking trying to keep everything stable during the transition. I've done it many times, but each time the challenge

Nothing wrong with a 20 gallon at all! Consider starting a build thread so other members can follow your progress 🙂

Good luck with your build!

I might setup a 20g to get my clowns out of the 120g! I would love to see yours if you setup a build thread!

moving my 69g to the 4 foot 83g sitting in my garage. I’m not looking forward to doing that.
At least its on the same property!
silver lining?

I moved a tank about 10 years ago about 30mins away and that was a LONG day, I'll tell you what!

Just spotted the stand under a 180g tank at my LFS today that’s starting to lean over to one side… out of square 1/2” to the right…

They’re not exactly well versed in structural things… So, guess who gets to fix it?

Haha I’ll get a pic of the vertical 2x4 rear center brace next time I’m in there…. It was definitely installed in a rush, then forgotten after a shop move!! It’s basically a 1x3 with how mangled one end is…

i can imagine. I’m more worried about my 16 month tank re-establishing itself from where i’m leaving off.
