I had these 2 pair up, I saw them at their cave all the time and then one day the hole just closed up and then I haven’t saw or heard any sign of them for over 3 weeks now. Is it possible they’re dead ?
Tank is a 50 gallon so it’s not much space for them to get lost in. They won’t even come out when feeding anymore.

You may have nothing to worry about. My pair (now 3 years old) often times don’t use the front entrance/exit but go out of the rear exit to feed. They are underneath a Carib Sea pedestal. But there’s definitely two ways in and out.
