Like most, I started small - 29Gal AIO-2 years ago
Then 40 gal AIO
Then a used 75 Gal with stand Acrylic tank that was scratched and became VERY scratched plus had difficulties setting up the filtration for it.
2 weeks ago, I picked up a 55Gal glass that fit the stand and top and switched it out with the 75Gal - looks gorgeous and there is a lot to be said for the lower profile but I still wanted one with a sump setup and the bottom of the tank is tempered so no drilling.
Today I was offered a 90Gal complete with stand and sump- pumps, some livestock, and heater. Although it may be too long to fit my stand, it is tempting to sell the tank and stand and incorporate everything else into my existing setup and use a HOB overflow.
AAAGGHHH! When does it stop? The prospect of tearing down and moving my system again if enough to give me nightmares.
I don't know what I am going to do. The hobby isn't supposed to be so stressful. (of course, I make it so)
