I have a torch that has not opened up in 2-3 months was doing great then closed up one day and never opened back up, is it possible it’s dead? I tried moving it’s location to less flow and less light but no luck. Do they turn white when they die like sps?

If there is no visible soft tissue than most likely dead. I have had a Duncan close for 8 weeks then bounce back

I will post a picture of it now when I get home from work. But the base still has color the head is completely closed so you can’t seen any of the head tissue. I have had it close up before when I was looking for a spot to place it for the first time and it would close to the point where it is now but after moving it to a location it liked it would open back up but the last 2-3 months it has been closed no matter where I place it
