When to retrieve mini maxi anemone?

Got a mini maxi anemone 2days ago. Took my time acclimateing and he looked very healthy. Very sticky and good looking foot. Within the last 30min he started to dive into the depths of my rock. Nothing seemed to have got him PO. Should I let him be or get him back out?How long should leave him be if so? Also thought about putting him in tubberware with a conch shell and putting him in tank when he puts his foot in conch shell. Any advice on this? Good idea? Bad idea? Thanks!

Don’t go after him. They are very hard to move and you will most likely damage him.

He will most likely come out when he’s ready, could take a week or two.

I wouldn’t bother with the shell, it’ll just move out of it if it wants to move.
