Noticed this hermit crab just chilling without a shell. He is alive and seems content. Has anyone seen this? Just curious. And what do y’all think that is on the tail? Eggs?

Yeah his empty one is at the bottom of the sump. He’s in sump jail for knocking over corals and terrorizing other hermits
