Ive been looking all over to buy a squammmy and I feel like there is a shortage everywhere. Only a few sites selling rare color squammys for $250+. Locally everyone has clams but not squamosas. Is there a export ban going on?

No ban that i know of...my lfs always has regular squammys...i got lucky a couple weeks ago and found a nice blue squammy at one lfs. Check wwc and pacificeastcoastaquiculture online.

They get cultured and bred in batches. Then they grow up in batches. Then sold in batches. Then you have to wait until the next batch is ready.
