Got my first bubble tip 2 days ago and it seemed to recover from shipping well. It was about 1-1.5 inchesin diameter. Placed it on the sand. before lights out it detached from the rubble it was shipped with and had moved abount an inc which seems normal. Next morning it seems completly gone. Cant be see it anywhere. tank is 100 gal
I had turned gyre pumps off.
Could it have died and decomposed over night?

Will it unshrivel, up if its shriveled in the rocks?

It is probably hiding behind the rocks. I had a 9" carpet anemone disappear but found it a month later behind the rock work in the dark, it was doing just fine.
Good luck!

Probably hiding. I had one make it into my sump so you just never know. It should show back up if it's happy
