I need 14k and 20k 250w mogul single sided bulbs. Does anyone know where good to premium bulbs are being sold and in stock?

I've heard good things about the aqua brites. Supposedly very similar to the Hamilton. I loaded up on the ushios during the scare but will be saving them for emergency and switching to the aqua brites. Something about the ushios just isn't doing it for me?

I got some new bulbs a few months ago from Aqua Bright. I would order from them again, I had no issue's.

I have electronic ballasts. What bulb would you recommend for 14K and 20K applications? Next question - If I went 175W I could run these closer to the water then compared to 250W? I've never used MH, but want to do a tank with them, or add them to set up on a different tank I am building out.

Use the 250w. 175w is weak and not worth using. I highly recommend running this bulb. It is identical to the praised radium 20k and cheaper. I run both side by side and can’t tell the difference.

What’s the footprint of the tank that you are using this on?
96x36x25. Trying to figure out exactly how to run what. I have 3 Reef Bright w/LEDs, 8 XR30 (mixture of blue/pro) and T5s where I can do 2 - 8 foot twin bulb runs.

In this case I would use the 3 halides w/reefbrites mounted perpendicular to the tank. And space a total of 4 xr-30 (2-left 2-right) between the halide fixtures. Because of the 36” width, if you plan on having sps closer to the glass, you might want to add in the t5’s on the outside of everything. I would add them in because I like the diffused light into the mix.
