Where to find insulated shipping boxes

I am trying to find a source to get insulated shipping containers to ship coral. I am running into a problem on cost. I was looking for boxes around 12x12x10 or something similar with at least an inch of insulation and have not been able to find any at a price of near $5 a piece shipped which is what I am aiming for unless I buy close to 200 at once. I unfortunately have no where to put 200 coolers lol. Anybody have some leads on affordable shipping coolers? If not what do you use?

A standard box and a sheet of insulating foam should do the trick. Just cut pieces of foam for the sides, put the coral in the middle and your done.

Wouldn't you need some very thick insulating foam, and wouldn't the air gaps at the joints exponentially reduce the insulating capabilities?

I'm not sure how much it affects the insulating properties. All but one of the shipments I've gotten over the years were packed like that. Granted the last one was several years ago. So the school of thought could very well have changed.

Looks like uline.com has them for about $5 each in quantities of 8. Did you check them out?

I just took a pic of my 8x8x8 box for a friend this morning.
25 cardboard boxes were a little over $20
Sheet of 4'x8'x1" was a shade over $14
I compress and tape the seams

The foam from sheet is a nice density too.

That thick foam looks interesting, I might have to give that a try. As far as Uline that 5 dollars doesn't include the shipping so it comes out at closer to 9 or ten dollars a box
