I'm beginning the planning for my Retirement Tank. So... Question 1... Where do I order a big tank? I want a 180 to 225 gallon with low iron glass, ghost overflows, and etc. with a quality stand. It will have to be delivered and placed in my view out basement family room. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I see people recommend https://glasscages.com/

You could also search "custom aquariums".

Glass cages or Custom Aquariums in Wisconsin. With that size tank make sure you have a metal framed stand. Pay attention to the construction of the stand if you plan on a large sump or refugium. How easy will the access be?
Easy access is a priority for me. I'm not getting any younger. Trying to squeeze into areas in the stand will only get harder over the years. I'm leaning toward a remote sump and support equipment. I have a false wall in an area perfect for a 6' tank with a huge storage room behind it. The area is already plumbed for an additional bath, so I have water and drains. I considered building the tank into that wall. But I think I like the look of a rimless tank on a modern stand with suspended lighting better.

I have a glass cage tank and love the quality. I’ve had it for at least 10 years and everything still looks good. You can actually go on their website and they have a calculator on there.

@Joe Glass Cages
How much should I budget for a 180 to 225 gallon rimless tank with 3jX low iron glass sides and ghost overflows?
for sure. thanks so much for the opportunity. Here to help even if we are not the best fit.

would you be open to a phone call to talk through your needs and requirements? We get back in to the office on Tuesday. Let me know. Thanks again.

I would have ordered from Custom Aquariums, but their prices for my intended size aquarium were exorbitant! And, that didn't include setup.
I was told by my LFS that they Only order from Planet Aquaria, but they are either flush with business or have lousy CS: I sought a quote from one of their TX retailers....no answer after 6 weeks. I wrote directly to them 2 weeks ago....they just can't be bothered. Wish I had a POSITIVE experience to offer you...I'm in the same boat.
Anyone else?
