Which color of LEDS for best color pop ?

Hello, I’m thinking about what color of LED makes for best overall pop . My instincts tell me 450mn or 420mn or what ?

I prefer daylight pics probably more than all blues. The color should be in the coral.

The reason I ask this question is, I’m looking to add accent lighting . Maybe something DIY or par 38 bulbs . My lights are MH and blue plus t5 . I thought to add something to make the greens and oranges ect pop out . My old BB would do it but it will not fit in the canopy

You're instincts are right though. The XHO reefbrite blue is all royal blue I think in the mid 450 range and really makes some coral pop. However mixing in a little UV really does wonders and is what the Orphek bars and some others are doing. 3 blue diodes to 1 uv kinda thing.

You will get more mileage out of rendering more color in the coral. Blue lights cannot pop color that is not there. RB LEDs can pop some colors if the corals got the color under different lights - to much RB and too little of other spectrums can make colors look dull.

Thx for the replies. I’m just kicking it around. Blue plus t5 does have some pop .
Currently colors are changing because of new lights . I will see in these coming week’s
