I am setting up a kalk dosing system for 300g display and 200g sump/fuge. I have a 32g brute trashcan I am using as a reservoir that I obviously need a dosing pump to run it all. I would like stand alone but something that plays friendly w controllers as I do not have a controller at the moment, but who knows what the future will tell.
What is everyone liking for dosing pumps now a days?

I have fully converted to Hydros so I would go with a SOLE. The continuous Duty would be great for slow Kalk addition. I personally use a standard hydros doser to add my kalk but you need a hydros controller for that and the SOLE works stand alone and is a better pump.

If you are getting a controller, i like the dumb brs dosing pumps. 2 flavors, 1 or 50 ml per minute. I have 4 for 6 years with no trouble. Use on timed outputs.

I use a ecotech versa. Not cheap, but doing a test and then changing the dosing on my phone app from the couch in increments of 0.01ml is such a nice feature. The app also tracks usage and notifies if dosing container is getting low, and calibration is a breeze.

I use a hydros doser + x10. Wouldn't hesitate to get any of the hydros options depending on your dosing/+controller needs

I would never buy them anywhere close to New price, but my versa pumps are rock solid.

Before that I used a BRS 2.2ml pretty minute pump and it was fine with a smart plug.

I sure could use some help figuring out the best way. I have a good little ac infinity periostatic or whatever pump sorry always forget the whole word 😂. It goes from 21-210. But even on low it seems to be too fast any way to slow down the feed. Had it on the old style manual timer but even at half an hour it dumped over 1 gal. That's not right is it?

This is what I do for kalk on a 450gal: Kamoer fix-stp2 (love it!) and Avast K2 (also loving it!) ;)

The Kamoer + Avast above don’t need a controller. I’ve still hooked them to my Apex for remote power control though.

Kalk stirrer: it’s a huge space saving & convenience for me. I just put a few tsp of kalk into the chamber every 2 weeks and adjust the Kamoer at 11mls/min (~4 gal) evaporation rate. When I see a slight pH drop, it’s time to add more kalk. I could hook up a pH probe inside the K2 but I’m out of ph/ORP probes! lol
