I checked my local Fleet Farm & Menards. Neither one have Aquamend. :(

Are either of these 2 safe for my tank? The one on the left was the closest to the pictures of Aquamend I have seen. What chemicals am I looking for? I found the cyanoacrylate in super glue, but I need some epoxy for some of my bigger pieces!

They should both be alright, though I would choose the one that sets in 5 min as opposed to the other in 50 minutes. I guess I am just an impatient person. :D

I know for a fact that the one on the left clearly states on the package that it's not for use in aquariums. I read the package when I got home and it's in the fine print.

The one on the left looks similar to aquamend but it also looks very close to the plumbers epoxy that is defninitely NOT reef safe. I believe it contains some sort of metal.

I would err on the safe side and get your hands on AquaMend. All Home Depot's I've been to have had it. If that's not an option you can order it from the link below. FYI, Home Depot sells a 4 oz. tube for $3.98 and the one in the link is 7oz for $5.99

the one on the left is fine. there isnt a diffence to that and the Aquamend. other then Aquamend say reef save and cost 4 times the about. i have use the locate one many time. the one on the right is fine as well just not sure i would use in a tank, out side the tank and let it cure then i would put in the tank.
