Which NUMBER is a colony?

Kris, I am sure that there are only a handful of us who get it. The same folks understand “put it on the Underhill’s tab” and similar references without googling them.
Thanks for the explanation “Dr.JellyFinger” 🤣

"I did not inhale?"

Theory of Coral Relativity:
"Frag" v. "colony" is conditional.
If you are buying, it's a frag. If selling, it's a colony. Unless you bought it today and are selling it now. Then it's a "mini-colony." Unless it is a Grand Master Holy Grail. Then it's a colony upon sale, regardless of when it was acquired.

This is the reefing equivalent of, "How long a minute is, depends on which side of the bathroom door you're on" 🤣🙃🤪

AH, this thread has many winners, and even got around to the royal flush.

Queen Elizabeth Wave GIF by Robert E Blackmon

A Royal departure before visiting one of the modern colonies?

11-12 minicolony
13 small colony
14 colony

Then again tank size also has its say.
In a small-medium size tank the size i aim for a colony size smaller than in larger tanks as a large colony makes the tank look smaller

I think 10 and 11 are micro, 12 is mini, 13-14 are just colonies.

When a frag plug won’t keep it stable in the rack and it needs a tile.

I’d say 12 on up

Crazy, I remember buying 14’s for the price of 1’s today.
