Was my living room in the last place. Will be the kitchen/dining room for the new house.

Wow - over 50% of the responses are in the living room!

This surprises me because it Took me 34 years of marriage to convince my wife to let me keep the aquarium in the living room!

My tank is in the kitchen dining room. It is in direct line to the basement where the sump, most electrical timers and dosing pumps are located

Mine is in the basement and that works out great for the marriage.
My wife only goes down to do laundry or look for something in the storage room. I get all the water I want on the floor, load up on equipment and livestock and blast the stereo, (musicreef). When she does stop to look at the tank and say "hey is that new" I just say are you kidding, I've had that for years.
