What percent are you running it at? Would a 6 or 7 work for me? I didn't want to spend that much if I don't need to.I've got the SDC 9 for my 150.
I like the programmable flow.
What did you ultimately go with? I was thinking the 7 for my 72" 127 with dual returns. It's about $30 more to go to the 9. I don't want to overkill it either...What percent are you running it at? Would a 6 or 7 work for me? I didn't want to spend that much if I don't need to.
spend the extra $30. better to have too much available and not need it.What did you ultimately go with? I was thinking the 7 for my 72" 127 with dual returns. It's about $30 more to go to the 9. I don't want to overkill it either...
I appreciate the feedback. The main reason to go with the DC vs AC is the controllability. Given the coast to coat overflow, I really want to dial in the most natural rhythm for the tank. How did you plumb? Are you running 1 1/4" pipe out of the pump and splitting off to the duals?spend the extra $30. better to have too much available and not need it.

1" single return. soft pipe to pvc.
I have a "T" in the return I have capped off for future frag tank I'm going to pipe into the system.
step ladder and 18" tongs. That is so very helpful! Thank you!
My current 90 is a tall tank. It frustrated me because I feel like I have T-Rex arms when I can't reach the bottom.
The goal on the new build is to go long and accessible. Those big 150's are beautiful....I'm just not that flexible. LOL
