Which valve do you prefer for running a bean animal / herby style overflow system? I'm currently using a standard PVC ball valve from Home Depot. The adjustability kinda stinks does any one use gate valves or higher end ball valves for their systems?

Yes Gate Valves are the only way to get finicky Herbie Style drains dialed in without pulling out your hair...lol I run two 1-1/2" on my drains.

Cheers, Todd

I use true union ball valves on mine. They are built much better and are easier to turn.
