Is this placement ok? It's higher up in my tank, plugged into a tall rock in the back. I have a 32 gallon biocube. I was reading they like lower light and lower flow, but some people are saying their whisker frags do better in higher light and flow. I just wanted to see what theconcensus here was.

Those "Duncans" are tough... No worries. (not right now at least) ;)
