Last year I somehow added velvet to my 233.
I lost about almost 1/2 of my fish.
Among those I lost were 4 of the 7 Lyretails
3 survived, but between the cure, 30+ days of copper ( at 2.25-2.40 ppm) and 80 days in a bare quarantine tank, there seems to have been some changes in one of the anthias color
This one was a normal orange like the other females before the velvet outbreak.
I'm not saying the velvet had anything to do with the color change.
I'm just speculating that the cure did it.
The color is pretty much as it is in the pictures whether the blue leds are on or the full tank lighting.
It's white.

And to tell you the truth, I can't tell if it was really a female lyretail or a female ignitus.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a white anthias before.
Was hoping others would post.

Very strange indeed. First thoughts are you feeding a variety? But since everyone else looks colorful that doesn't match up. Then in a brief search some anthias lose their coloring when under bright lighting could be a possibility.

Other than that is it possible that it is a spooky ghost?

I had all these anthias for maybe a year or two before the velvet outbreak and the color was normal.
The other female anthias is still normal, but the male is much darker. It was a purple color, but it's pretty dark now.
They get 3 different types of frozen food, 3 different types of pellets and I also do ROE 2-3 times per week.
