White specks on Bowerbanki?

I noticed som white specks on a bowerbanki yesterday. They are defintely attached to the coral in some way, and mostly look like tiny bits of food. They where gone later, so thought something just landed on it.
This morning they are back:

Could it be reaction from being stung? I have a tube nem, that might be able to reach it during night time.

Not sure if it was stung, it would have affected a larger area and not disappear and then come back.

Yes, I believe you're right.
I found a thread here on R2R, and I can see it is the same I am experiencing:

It could be the nem is simply getting to close?
