Hello! Can anyone identify what this white spot is on my clowns face? Looks to be in the nostril not sure. I did a water change kicked up a bunch of debris. Wonder if something may have gotten stuck or maybe it’s something. Pls help. Thank you!

Is there another clownfish in with this one? They often lip lock when setting up or changing dominance and that can cause this issue.

I see this as an injury from fighting , cleaning rock areas or even running into an object
It should heal on its own however if it gets sore or develops a bump, treatment may be warranted using seachem neoplex or kanaplex

Ahhh ok I see. Yes another clown is here. I’ve seen some nipping here and there.

It’s gotten bigger? Anything I should worry about? Could this be lympho?

It doesn’t look like lymphocystis and clownfish rarely get that. This is most likely a post injury infection.

Is it separated from the other clown? You’ll need to do that. Then, in a hospital tank, you’ll need to treat it with neomycin or maybe kanaplex.
