White spots on female clown

I’ve noticed these little white spots on my female clown fish and they have been popping up more over the days but not on the male clown is this itch or velvet? What should I do? The pictures don’t do it justice but she has tiny white spots across her whole body she’s breathing normally and eating fine and I haven’t seen her rubbing against rocks or anything

The female had stringy poop and I dosed prazi pro per my lfs about 3 weeks ago and have since ran carbon and changed the water

Yeah it’s hard to tell but there are tiny white dots covering her whole body

This clown has ich and you will need to place fish in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25 for a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored with a Hanna Brand copper test kit- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone. All other fish in with it should also be removed as they have also been exposed to the parasites and placed in quarantine tank.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off. Inverts and coral can remain in the display (not treatment) tank during fallow period.
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store, a Rubbermaid type tub or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

The most recent was the goby and pistol but that was 2 months ago but I added the anemone 2 days ago

Only the fish come out and go in QT. Snails and shrimp can stay in the DT. They will die from the copper and are immune to ich.

No one said empty..... You want to place fish in a separate tank for treatment and leave any coral and inverts in the display tank but no fish in display tank for 60 days

Going to use a spare hob and heater and air stone with new sponge in the hob and I plan to add sea chem stability for sole
Beneficial bacteria and feed pellets with the sea chem garlic stuff and will go out and buy copper power and a copper test kit tmrw and since this is my first time doing this I’m gonna test ammonia and copper daily and do changes when I see ammonia rise

If someone could approve this plan or change it that would be fiery helpful since this is my first Time doing a quarantine tank

That will work, but tine is of the essence, it takes a few days for copper power to work.

One point - copper power will give a false ammonia reading of 0.5 ppm, so don’t worry unless your copper goes higher than that.

Ok cool one more question for you or anyone. The three fish are in the qt tank with heater filter air stone and two pvc elbows I added bacteria so far and I got copper power that says to dose to 2.5 ppm for a 20 gallon so ima dose as if it was 18 gallons so like 25 MLs and I’m using a salifert copper test kit that only goes up to <2 while I’m waiting for the Hannah tester to come in the mail. And my local fish store guys who have helped in the past told me to mix metro plex focus and the garlic into the pellets and feed that so I’m gonna feed them for the first time in a bout an hour then dose copper power after the feeding.
Pls let me know if I should change any of this plan

Also are you saying when I does the copper there’s gonna be a 0.5 ammonia reading right away? And I plan on testing those two daily and about what level of ammonia should I do a water change like 1ppm or less? And should I do 5 or 10 gallon changes

Don’t mix metro and food unless you dose it accurately - it needs to be 1% by weight in the food.

You may need to do a 50% dilution with RO water in your copper sample to get the results onto the scale - just multiply your results by 2.

Update for everyone again thanks for all the help they’ve been in the qt tank for 5 days now and the two clowns are eating like pigs and the female has been very active and her elevated breathing and spots have gotten better and I finally got the goby to eat yesterday and today
