White stringy stuff on blastomussa

So ive had this blastomussa for about a month and noticed that theres this worm like stuff forming below its head. It doesnt move but i have noticed its gottem bigger can anyone ID this?

Looks like sponge. Use a soft toothbrush to remove it if it bothers the coral.

I have zero experience with sponges other than the ones I use to wash dishes, so I am just gonna go ahead and agree with what @DSC reef said....

I agree with the above on that being a sponge. I have a couple in the tank that look exactly like that.

Thanks guys yea i scraped it off with a toothbrush and came out easy.
